The Liberated Minds Institute (LMI) focuses on raising the entrepreneurial and financial IQ of the young.
We believe this is one issue that is misunderstood and mishandled by most of our existing educational institutions -- designed as they are to meet the requirements of yesterday's industrial economy and mass-production world. It's an issue we must take into our own hands. Recognizing the demands and opportunities of the next economy, we must take action now if the next generation is to succeed.
LMI serves as a clearinghouse and information
resource, drawing on the best minds, models and tool-sets on the topic. We scan the
horizon and identify real-world opportunities to awaken and strengthen the spirit of enterprise.
We fund innovative learning ventures designed to strengthen the entrepreneurial and financial capabilities of young people. We seek out experiments, demonstration projects and local success stories -- looking for ways to scale them into the mainstream marketplace.
We support breakthrough market and policy research on new approaches to financial, career and entrepreneurial education. This research is designed to provide guidance to parents, teachers, business leaders, policy makers and other catalysts for smart change. We will bolster these efforts through our own conferences, studies and publishing ventures.

I'm Britton Manasco.
As founder of LMI, I believe there's much we can do to help young people capitalize on their strengths and seize their full potential. By giving them opportunities to exercise initiative and build confidence, we prepare them to succeed in an entrepreneurial knowledge economy that welcomes their enthusiasm and ambition.
